Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician or installation trainee to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various security systems and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure security systems, including cameras, alarms, access control systems, and other related equipment
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and determine the best placement of equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on security systems as needed
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements
- Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and make any necessary adjustments
- Provide training to clients on how to use the installed security systems effectively
Requirements:
- Experience as a Service Technician or Installation Technician in the security system industry and strong knowledge of security system components and technologies i preferred but not necessary
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Basic understanding of computer networking principles
- Ability to build, install, and test electronic security equipment
- Knowledge of electrical principles and ability to work with electrical components safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
